Race report by Mike Swauger
This race I decided to only run Sedan to help out local XRAY team with setups and two to get ready for the GLC and Nationals, with the extra time I was also able to help out 1/8th team a little more then I usually could if I ran both classes.

I was told the week before that the traction has been very high so I set-up the car with differentials and a suspension setting that would accommodate the high bite, but when I put the car on the track for the first time I quickly found out the traction was very low and had to soften up the rear diff and F/R springs, by qualifying I was able to get the car pretty good. I ended up TQ and we were able to put 5 XRAY cars in the Sedan main as well as 1 car in the GT, 1 car in the Masters, 3 cars in Sportsman, and 2 cars in the 1/8th Open A main.

The main started a bit tough for me as I traction rolled on the second car and chunking the inside rear tire really bad in the process, I decided to stick it out and roll around the track and was able to come away with the win with my teammate Eduardo Cabal coming in a well deserved 3rd place.

I would also like to congratulate all the RC America/XRAY Team drivers for a great showing and especially Sal Bisada for taking the Sporstman win, and Biboy Angeles for his second place podium position in the GT8 class.

See you at the GLC,
Mike Swauger
